THE GREENBERG BUILDING
This historic office building was constructed about 1907. It has a Roman brick front façade and was built in the then popular style of a business arcade building. The building originally had a three story atrium and was open to Main Street in the front and to the rear lot with stores and offices facing each other along its center walkway. It was the predecessor to our malls. In 1973 the building was extensively modernized with a new front façade, air conditioning, modern plumbing and electrical systems. In 1998 the building's front façade was restored to its original 1907 design. The building is well maintained and has a fire alarm system.
The building is located at 7566 Main Street, Sykesville, Maryland. Ample free
parking is available behind the building on the well maintained public lot.
